Gesundheit

Unite against MalariaDie medizinische Versorgung in Namibia hat einen sehr hohen Stellenwert, besonders in privaten Kliniken und bei Ärzten. Dennoch beschränkt sich die Verfügbarkeit von Versorgungen auf die Großstädte. Saubere Spritzen sind vorhanden und Blutkonserven werden vor ab untersucht auf übertragbare Krankheiten, Hepatitis und HIV/Aids mit eingeschlossen.

Leitungswasser ist in der Regel trinkbar, kann aber nach Chlor schmecken. Zur Sicherheit empfehlen wir den Kauf von Mineralwasser.

Im nördlichen Namibia (vor allem in der Regenzeit: Januar bis März) kommt Malaria vor.
