Flora y fauna

La diversidad de la flora y fauna en Namibia es exuberante.

La mayoría de los animales viven en Parques Nacionales como Etosha, Khaudum, Mudumu, Mamili y Hardap Dam.  Pero también en otras áreas hay muchos animales (especialmente en el norte) como elefantes (del desierto), rinocerontes, leones, jirafas, cebras, antílopes, hienas, chitas y leopardos.

Más de 600 especies de aves existen en Namibia, en muchos colores y formas diferentes, pero también se encuentra una gran cantidad de mamíferos pequeños, insectos y reptiles.  También hay muchos tipos distintos de plantas y flores, desde los especiales árboles de aljaba hasta enormes cactus y palmeras.
